```Duties``` - Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Manage the waiting area and ensure cleanliness ```Requirements``` - Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (Athena is a plus)Proficient in using office equipment and phone systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
